NYC Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez

Today I joined Senator @adrianoespaillat, Assembly Members Gabriela Rosa & Denny Farrell and the entire Northern Manhattan community to push back upon the imposition of the Port Authority and the developers working on the $183.2m renovation of the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. This renovation will bring corporate chain stores with poverty wage paying jobs and 0 concessions to the community, as we are left with increased traffic and 2 years of debilitating construction. We stood up today to say no to this plan and demanded inclusion and transparency in this process so that the gains made in this project are not going only to the pockets of the developers, but to the community.
